Ecommerce Product Pages Growth by Implementing Semantics

This is how I helped this ecommerce store (selling high-ticket products) to grow by implementing micro semantics.
The client's goal was to consolidate authority to the product pages to help them rank higher and acquire more customers.
We segregated the commercial keywords where the ranking documents were product pages to specifically target the buying intent of target users.
The next step was to create query templates for those commercial keywords and analyze their search demand and indexes to avoid cannibalization and better consolidate ranking signals.
The creation of a topical map (based on Koray Tugberk GUBUR's framework) helped to figure out the topics where we can target all the related search activities of target users.
We approached the semantic topical map creation by processing the canonical verbs and nouns, as well as the attributes of the main entity.
We filtered out the pages that had both high search demand and relevance to the product pages to help the website gain historical data and transfer authority to the commercial pages by linking them through micro-contexts.
The commercial part of the website had a document design that was semantically created to help the product pages align with search intent and contain greater information gain.
Each product page's content was created by combining semantics with copywriting, as the goal was not just to rank higher but also to convert visitors.
The product-related unique questions were covered on the product pages by processing queries and deeply analyzing the target users' problems related to the product.
The quality nodes were created and linked from the homepage by revamping its design and adding more branding elements.
The semantic content briefs for each content item helped communicate detailed semantics to content creators, to help them follow guidelines and create content based on semantic rules and principles.
All the content was created manually by focusing on NLP and implementing microsemantics with optimized sentence structures, contextual flow, and relevant attributes.
We followed the consensus as the project was not yet in a topical authority state, but the writers were experts in the niche and were trained on guidelines to increase information density and make it more relevant and responsive.
It’s just 7% of the map we’ve covered, and the client’s investment has started to pay off due to the focus on commercial queries from the very beginning.
If your business depends on SEO to reach your audience, then implementing SEMANTICS is the way to gooo.
